This privacy policy explains what personal data 1Fremdrift collects, why, how long it is kept, and what rights you have. It is written to meet the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data controller

1Fremdrift, represented by James Terry Williams, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact details are provided at the bottom of this page.

What personal data do we collect?

We only collect information you provide to us yourself. We do not currently use any analytics or tracking technology, and we do not obtain personal data from other sources.

• Contact form: name, email address, phone number (optional), and the content of your message.
• Project brief form: company name, contact person, email, phone, project description, and any materials you choose to upload (documents, images). Uploaded files are sent directly as email attachments and are not stored separately on the website server.
• Technical information: your chosen language (stored in a cookie), and your cookie consent choice.

Purpose and legal basis

Information from the contact form and the project brief form is used solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to follow up on a working relationship. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), given by ticking the checkbox on the form.

Necessary cookies (such as the language preference) are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a functioning website experience (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)), and do not require consent.

How long do we keep the data?

Enquiries submitted via the contact form or project brief form are received as email and kept in our email account for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and any resulting client relationship, including any statutory retention requirements (such as accounting rules). You can request deletion of your data at any time — see "Your rights" below.

Who has access to the data?

The data is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes. It is processed by us and by the processors we use to run the website and email (such as our web host / email provider), who are bound by data processing agreements in line with GDPR.

Your rights

Under data protection law, you have the following rights:

• Access to the personal data we hold about you
• Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Erasure of your data ("the right to be forgotten")
• Restriction of processing in certain circumstances
• Data portability — receiving your data in a structured format
• Objecting to processing
• Withdrawing consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal
